Big Picture believes that arts education is necessary for all. Arts education gives students the opportunity to develop skills in communication, critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. It is vital for kids to have a chance to experiment with ideas.
Public art is vital for a healthy community. Public art improves the walkability of areas, has proven economic benefits to a community, and shows the vitality of our community. Big Picture Initiative’s first public art mural is “Abraham Blue,” dedicated on October 11, 2018.

Nearly 500 children in the Peoria area have participated in one of Big Picture Peoria’s mural classes. Students work hand-in-hand with a professional mural artist to create a masterpiece for their school. More than 40% of our budget in recent years goes toward arts education for children.
Global Water Fountain
This foundation brings water awareness into the home rather than delegating it to the twist of the tap. It transform big blank TV screens into living art that flows and surprises giving families time to relax, reflect, and appreciate the miracle of water.
Fresh fruit and vegetables are an important part of a healthy diet. Big Picture is working with the community to provide customizable stands to spread the joy of healthy foods in Peoria!
